Olympic figure skater Yura Min overcomes wardrobe malfunction with calm and class

'Don't know how I'm here': Colombian roller-skater gets shock Olympic chance

Aura was forced to keep adjusting her red sparkly top as she was spun around by partner Alexander Gamelin.

Instead of panicking, Min handled the issue like a total professional.

South Korean figure skater Yura Min's gorgeous red costume proved to be an inconvenient choice as she competed in the short dance category today.

She wrote: "Despite the wardrobe malfunction, I had an awesome time competing in my home country!"

Min said that she had to pause during her routine once.

And yet that nightmare nearly became reality for Yura Min on Sunday.

Kim Jong Un Has Invited The South Korean President To Pyongyang
Later, he skipped a formal dinner at which he was due to share a table with North Korea's ceremonial head of state Kim Yong Nam . The two Koreas marched in behind a white flag that was emblazoned with a map of the Korean peninsula depicted in blue.

The skater, a dual citizen of South Korea and the United States, told the Detroit Free Press that the hook on her top came undone just seconds into her routine. I was terrified the entire program.

Min was able to get through the entire routine with her outfit in place.

"I would like to thank the audience for keeping us going until the end". I didn't stop because you get a deduction if you stop in the middle of a programme. She was especially vulnerable during her twizzles, a synchronized side-by-side move.

"It started to come down so I had to stop my twizzle and pull it back up", she told the AP. The whole time in the back of my head I was just thinking: "'Keep your back straight because it might come down". "That wouldn't be the most ideal Olympic experience, obviously".

Riedell Shoes, Inc., is among the companies that sponsor both Min and Gamelin, who will return to the rink on February 19 for the individual ice dance competition.

Min and her pairs partner, Gamelin, ended up finishing ninth, but they'll compete together again at the individual pairs competition in Pyeongchang.
