Rose McGowan Responds To Former Manager's Death

Tough Ashley Paulman continued'Rose is at the helm of her own cis white feminism- selfish self important and she has publicly tormented victims

The veteran studio executive represented Rose McGowan in 1997 when movie mogul Harvey Weinstein allegedly raped her at the Sundance Film Festival.

After being slammed by a lot of people for ignoring the tragic death of her former manager and instead, posting about her accomplishments, Rose McGowan finally took to social media today to address Jill Messick's suicide on February 7.

They praised her as a "survivor" who had battled with depression and bipolar disorder for many years.

As previously reported, Weinstein's attorney, Ben Brafman, gave Us Weekly a statement in January denying the sexual assault allegations made by McGowan against his client, and he included quotes from Messick.

"Jill Messick was a mother of two children, a loving wife and partner, a dear friend to many and a smart entertainment executive".

Messick's family criticized journalists for publishing Messick's correspondence. In a lengthy, scathing statement then, Messick's family said the suicide was "collateral damage" in the fallout of the Harvey Weinstein scandal and McGowan's role in it.

That caused Messick's family to lash out at both McGowan and Weinstein for involving Messick and putting her in the middle. She committed suicide on Wednesday.

The invitation was delivered in a meeting between Moon and the North Korean leader's sister, Yo-jong. Moon said improved relations between the Koreas may be a step toward resolving the nuclear standoff.

"She was very clear about the fact that getting into that hot tub was something that she did consensually and that in hindsight it was also something that she regretted having done'".

What makes Rose's inaccurate accusations and insinuations against Jill ironic was that she was the first person who stood up on Rose's behalf, and alerted her bosses to the horrific experience which Rose suffered'. Rose never once used the word rape in that conversation. They told Jill that they would handle the situation.

In October, McGowan was one of the first women to come forward when Weinstein was exposed as an alleged predator by The New York Times.

"She put her arms around me", McGowan told the paper.

"Seeing her name in headlines again and again ... along with Harvey's desperate attempt to vindicate himself, was devastating for her", the statement said.

The statement ended by saying, "Words matter" and "Someone's life may depend on it".
