Larry Nassar transferred to federal prison in Arizona

Former Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar will be 105 when he completes his first 60-year sentence

Nassar is now in the federal prison, located at 9300 S. Wilmot Road, according to the Bureau of Prisons website, which shows Nassar's release date as 2069. The prison is located on Wilmot Road near Old Vail Road.

Nassar is serving a 60-year federal prison sentence for three child pornography convictions.

Nassar, who is now 54, is slated to be released from federal prison in 2069 at the age of 105.

Since his arrest, more than 200 girls and women have come forward to say they were abused by Nassar.

Eaton County correctional officers on Thursday handed over the former Michigan State University sports doctor to federal officials, the Lansing State Journal reported.
