Former Manchester United midfielder Liam Miller dies aged 36

Former Ireland worldwide Liam Miller has died at the age of 36 after suffering with cancer.

Miller also played for clubs including Manchester United, Hibs, Leeds United and Sunderland. Thoughts are with all his family and friends at this horrendous time.

He won 21 caps for the Republic of Ireland over 16 years, breaking through at Celtic before he moved to Old Trafford in 2004.

In 2015, Miller had a spell with League of Ireland side Cork City. Marton Fulop, like Liam, was taken by Cancer whilst still a very young man - proof if needed that you just don't know what life has in store for you around the corner.

The midfielder joined the Glory in 2011 and played 49 senior games for the club before winning an A-league title in his lone season with Brisbane Roar in 2013/14. "Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time".
