
The Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeat artist died just one week before her 21st birthday in a horror crash in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The star is reported to have been travelling in a Jeep to Accra after a trip to Sunyani with two others when the vehicle collided head-on with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi.
Reports had it that Ebony Reigns who was rushed down to Bechem Government Hospital few minutes after the incident but she died shortly after while her driver is still unconscious. The passengers told us the accident involved another auto and that a soldier and a small girl were trapped in the vehicle.
Barimaba Yusif, a journalist with a local radio station, After-2 FM, said on the Super Morning Show on Joy FM Friday the road on which the accident occurred was in a bad state.
