An asteroid will past earth today, which is the second this week.
Designated 2018 CB, the asteroid is an estimated 50 feet to 130 feet (15 meters to 40 meters) in size, possibly bigger than the one that exploded over Russian Federation in 2013. Which is less than one-fifth the distance to the moon.
"Although 2018 CB is quite small, it might well be larger than the asteroid that entered the atmosphere over Chelyabinsk, Russia, nearly exactly five years ago, in 2013", said NASA's Paul Chodas.
On Super Bowl Sunday, an asteroid about a half-mile wide made what is considered to be a close pass by Earth of 2.6 million miles. The other asteroid 2018 CC, during its close flyby on February 6, was nearly 114,000 miles (184,000 kilometers) away from Earth.
An asteroid, estimated to be between 15 and 30 metres in size, will safely pass by Earth on Friday, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has said.

Indian Air Force officer arrested for allegedly sharing information with ISI
It was discovered by a senior Air Force officer that there was a massive breach of the information by the Group Captain Marwaha. The information that he shared was reportedly on new agencies in the field of cyber warfare, space and special operations.
Estimated to be between 50 and 130ft (15 and 40 meters) in diameter, 2018 CB has the potential to be double the size of the 17-meter Chelyabinsk asteroid which left 1,000 people injured and damaged thousands of buildings.
Astronomers take these opportunities to learn more about asteroids, such as their composition.
Recently NASA announced that two small potentially hazardous asteroids would zoom past earth in close flyby within a week.
In February 2013, a fireball lit the skies above Chelyabinsk as a small asteroid entered Earth's atmosphere.
