Serial stowaway sneaks onto O'Hare plane, flies to London: Cops

How the Right Mattress Can Ease Back Pain

Marilyn Hartman, who has a history of sneaking aboard planes, slipped past security at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport this week and flew to London. For years, law enforcement agencies in several states have known her for her seemingly endless and freaky habit of getting on planes without a ticket, a boarding pass or a passport.

Authorities are unsure of her motives, but the judge presiding over her 2016 case said he believed she was "addicted to the attention". She now faces charges of criminal trespass and theft. At a hearing Saturday afternoon, a judge ordered her released on her own recognizance, but ordered her to undergo psychological treatment and stay away from O'Hare and any British Airways planes. After spending the night in the Terminal, officials said Hartman was able to sneak by two British-ticket agents-without a boarding pass and in no possession of a passport.

Prosecutors say Hartman put her bag on the screening device, passed security and got in line for a flight to CT. She was jailed in Chicago that same year for trying to bypass security at the city's two major airports.

The Transportation Security Administration is investigating how she managed to sneak past security. She managed to board a plane once but was arrested before it took off. "Upon learning of the incident, TSA, and its aviation partners, took immediate action to review security practices throughout the airport", the federal agency said in a statement.

At the time she was sentenced to jail, Hartman had been living at a mental health facility on the Near North Side of Chicago before violating the terms of her probation by leaving the facility and going to O'Hare. " "Infamous serial stowaway" Marilyn Jean Hartman strikes again", says a Post headline from 2015.

Russia: Iran deal can't survive if USA pulls out
A USA think-tank said tunnelling had been stepped up at the nuclear test site sparking fears of further testing. Haley called Iran "the leading cause of instability in an unstable part of the world".

Hartman claims she suffers from an unrecognised condition called "whistleblower trauma syndrome". Media outlets have also called her a homeless loner bouncing between women's shelters and motel rooms up and down the West Coast over the past decade.

McCarthy said Hartman tried to "dart around" another passenger who was in the line, but was stopped by an agent working for the flight and was instructed to sit down.

"High definition video captured the defendant's movements throughout O'Hare Airport", Assistant State's Attorney Maria McCarthy said.

In many cases, Hartman seemed to expect to be caught.

According to CBS, Hartman has said that she likes being at airports because they make her feel safe.
