Donald Trump in excellent health, White House doctor insists

Presidential physician Ronny Jackson suggested that President Trump should exercise more

White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson, who is also a rear admiral in the Navy, announced at a press conference on Tuesday that Trump got a ideal score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA).

The test administered, Jackson noted, was the widely used Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a brief written and oral examination covering basic recall exercises, language questions, abstraction and more.

"The president is mentally very sharp, very intact", Jackson said.

The presentation was both folksy and matter-of-fact, as Jackson described the president's eyesight, cognitive skills and heart function as excellent, despite Trump's lack of exercise and fondness for fast food.

The doctor also said Trump showed "excellent cardiac results ... from a stress test" performed on the president last week.

Based on the clinical information he has on Trump and his year of observing the president, Jackson said: "I feel very confident that he has a very strong and a very probable possibility of making it completely through his presidency with no medical issues".

"His health is excellent right now", Jackson said. He's eating what they're - what the chefs are cooking for him now, and they're cooking a much healthier diet for him now.

Paul Gasari tweeted "Dr. Ronny Jackson says Donald Trump is 6'3 and weighs 239 lbs".

Here's what Dr. Jackson had to say about Trump's physical results
Asked to respond to people who think he's racist, Trump told reporters: "I am the least racist person you have ever interviewed". The President doesn't have a daily physical fitness routine, the doctor said.

It's about the problem that's pervasive across industries. "It has happened to me in multiple jobs". "Its overwhelmingly women. In 2015, she left NBC News for good and is now promoting her PBS docuseries, We'll Meet Again .

Overall, Jackson said he was impressed by the president s health, saying tests revealed no evidence of cancer, lung problems, diabetes or joint problems. However, he did say that, in theory, a ideal score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment does not necessarily rule out cognitive decline. "Some people have just great genes".

Trump's body mass index, or BMI, of 29.9 puts him in the category of being overweight for his height. "The reason we did it is plain and simple, because the President asked me to do it".

He had told Trump he should lose 10-15 pounds.

Questioned by the press for almost an hour, Jackson additionally shared that the president takes aspirin for "cardiac health;" Propecia, a medication meant to prevent hair loss; Soolantra Cream, to combat the skin disease Rosacea; and Crestor, a cholesterol-lowering drug.

And then there was Jimmy Kimmel, who took a different approach, shooting his own doctor's report in which the news was a little more dire: Trump's hair, a fake doctor said in a pre-taped clip, has taken over his brain.

Trump did not undergo a psychiatric exam. Called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, it is created to detect early signs of memory loss and other neurologic functions - and Trump had a flawless score.

The president's yearly physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, which took place on Friday, is a routine practice.

You know, I told the president that if he had healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200 years old.
