Dow Jones breaks through 26000 as United States stock rally takes hold again

E-mini S&P 500 Index

Jan 11 (Reuters) - Wall Street closed at record highs on Thursday as rising oil prices lifted energy stocks and investors bet on a strong US corporate earnings season.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 153.95 points, or 0.6 percent, to 25,957.14, the S&P 500 gained 7.96 points, or 0.29 percent, to 2,794.2 and the Nasdaq Composite added 33.55 points, or 0.46 percent, to 7,294.61. He predicted above-trend GDP growth with rising inflation in 2018.
