'We Are Never Coming Back,' Kidnapped Chibok Girls Say in Boko Haram Video

Nigerian militant Islamist group Boko Haram has released a video purportedly showing some of the girls kidnapped from the town of Chibok almost four ago saying they do not wish to return home.

At least 14 of the 276 girls who were abducted by Islamic militants Boko Haram in 2014 were seen in the tape.

A group of about 12 girls and young women, some of whom are holding babies, are reportedly seen in the video.

Boko Haram often kidnaps young girls and has used many to carry out suicide bombing attacks in northeastern Nigeria.

As many as 107 of the victims are thought to have been released or escaped from captivity since.

The short videos showed about 14 girls who were said to be part of the school girls abducted from the northeast Nigerian town of Chibok in April 2014. "We are happy here-we have found our faith", she added. "But by the grace of Allah, we will not return home", one of the girls said in the undated footage, which was released on Monday. Allen Manasa, a spokesman for the village of Chibok, said he could not verify the identities of anyone in the video.

They are fed well and shown off to would-be conscripts to demonstrate how they will receive better treatment if they follow Boko Haram's orders.
