Bill Murray debuts his Steve Bannon on 'SNL'

Cast member Leslie Jones played Oprah in both cold open and Weekend Update

"Saturday Night Live" returned for its first show of 2018, and it wasted no time catching the audience up on the hottest topics from politics.

"The magic is still out there", Murray bragged to "Fire and Fury" author Michael Wolff (Fred Armisen, another returning "SNL" alum).

He reportedly also said, "They're going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV".

"OK that does sound like me", Murray's Bannon concluded. Trump asked for two babies to be placed in his office, usually of different a ethnicity.

When asked if everything in his book was true, Armisen's Wolff responded, "You read it, right? Trump would say, 'A thousand bucks on the black one, '" he said.

Of Rochester's sexual misconduct probe, but president to resign
Instead, Thursday brought another, unexpected announcement: President Joel Seligman (right) will resign , effective February 28. The complainants, at a news conference, called the report incomplete and said their legal fight would continue.

#Steve Bannon was then portrayed on the show by former cast member #Bill Murray, who sat down next to the mock Michael Wolff. Peeling back SNL's usual Grim Reaper hood to reveal his new form, Murray/Bannon talked about himself a bunch in the third person and protested that "no one gets the Bannon fired, no one".

Murray's Bannon also shares his future plans now that he's left Breitbart, which include a new show for Crackle called "Cucks in Cars Getting Coffee", creating "wrinkled barn jackets called Frumpers for guys", and a future skin care line called "Blotch". "Already got some prospects".

As if that wasn't enough, Leslie Jones popped up next as Oprah Winfrey to discuss her presidential campaign.

It all started not long after Donald Trump locked up the Republican nomination following his upset win over 16 other candidates in the GOP primary. So who knows? There's only one job more powerful in the world than being president: "BEING OPRAH!"
