Officials say a police pursuit involving a Greyhound bus was initiated in southeast Wisconsin for a reported armed subject on the bus. State police tried to use stop sticks to pull the bus over and the driver finally complied and the pursuit ended just north of Route 173.

There were 50 passengers on board the bus, Greyhound said in a statement.

According to the release, police received a call around 10 p.m. about a disorderly person who was possibly armed.

Officials chased the bus from Racine County into Lake County, Illinois. They were eventually removed from the bus safely.
