49ers linebacker Reuben Foster arrested on marijuana charge

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster, who just completed his rookie season with the team, was arrested and charged with second degree possession of marijuana on Friday, according to the Tuscaloosa News.

The report cited the Tuscaloosa Sheriff's Office arrest database.

The arrest comes nearly two weeks after Foster wrapped up a rookie season in which he finished second on the 49ers in tackles with 72 in 10 games. He was arrested for second-degree marijuana possession in Alabama and is now out of custody after paying a $2,500 bond. He made 72 tackles and was credited with one pass defensed. Foster had his draft party sponsored by a vaporizer company.

Oprah Winfrey urged to run for president
King described Graham as being 'nothing but supportive, ' adding, 'he would never throw it out there like that'. If you wonder why anyone is taking the Oprah-for-president idea seriously, go back and listen to that speech .

Foster was the 31st overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and tallied 59 tackles as a rookie.

As Foster slipped from a potential top pick to the end of the first round, the 49ers scooped him up and immediately inserted him as a starter at linebacker. Foster missed six games with a high ankle sprain and a rib injury.

The 49ers finished the season on a five-game winning streak, but still ended the year at 6-10.
