Woman returned Christmas tree for refund in January because it was 'dead'

A California woman who had bought a Christmas tree from Costco went back to return it on January 4, demanding a refund because she claimed that the tree was "dead".

When a WWLP reporter posted about the Christmas tree refund on social media, users responded with similar tales of outlandish items returned for refunds.

"I can't make this stuff up, ' he posted". One man expressed his disbelief on Facebook, which was multiplied when, according to him, she got her money back.
