Mother Arrested After Son Endures 323 Hospital Visits and 13 Unnecessary Surgeries

Tree Costume Takes Twitter by Storm

Child Protective Services says her son Christopher was seen 323 times at hospitals and pediatric centers in Dallas and Houston and underwent 13 major surgeries between 2009 and 2016 - despite not being sick.

According to him, Ms Bowen would tearfully tell judges: "The father doesn't need to be around because he doesn't know to take care of him".

She would claim Christopher suffered from cancer or a genetic disorder, and even reportedly attempted to place him on the lung transplant list.

According to the investigation, as reported in NBC5, doctors now said that they "do not find Christopher to be sick".

Bowen even went so far as to start crowdfunding pages to aid in his medical treatments and operations.

Mr Crawford said, 'She started explaining to the judge that the doctors stated my son would never walk.

Kaylene Bowen, the child's mother, has allegedly kept her son confined to a wheelchair, telling him and others he had a rare degenerative disorder that required him to be fed with the help of a feeding tube.

CPS removed him from Bowen-Wright's care last month after it was alerted by a Dallas hospital where medical staff determined he didn't have cancer or numerous symptoms Bowen reported.

Nokia Camera app gets major update before Nokia 9 launch
HMD Global is expected to announce new Android Nokia smartphones in January 2018, and one of them is going to be the Nokia 9 . Other devices like Nokia 7 or Nokia 8 will have higher or lower numbers, depending on the settings.

"It was always the same story: Christopher is dying", Crawford told The Star-Telegram."The father doesn't need to be around because he doesn't know how to take care of him". But after the CPS found out that it had all been for nothing, they placed Christopher and his two siblings in foster care. Crawford asked. "How do you do 13 surgeries and not question the fifth surgery?"

Ryan Crawford is now seeking custody of the boy. Crawford says he went to family court multiple times to convince them there was nothing wrong with Christopher.

While Crawford claims he complained to the CPS about the abuse, and so did the child's aunt, the agency claims they have no records of the complaints.

"He looked as if nothing had ever happened to him", Crawford said after visiting his son.

"I am very concerned that mother has moved from exaggerating symptoms to inducing symptoms", Dr. Suzanne Dakil told investigators during a review of the child's medical history.

"No one wanted to believe me until it was nearly too late", said Crawford. He said he began to wonder if her illnesses were valid or if she was just wanted attention, but nothing could have prepared for her behavior once the baby was born.

It's horrific to think that a mother would put her own child through so many serious medical procedures for no reason, and that through it all, the system would completely ignore the father's concerns.
