And finally, this on the NCAA's plan to form a Commission on College Basketball.
In his first appearance with reporters since the FBI investigation into alleged corruption in college basketball was revealed, Kentucky men's basketball Coach John Calipari faced a number of questions on the issue at the beginning of the United Kingdom media day press conference Thursday.
Several weeks ago, news was released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that college athletes were being paid to attend certain schools, to sign with a certain agent or to commit to a shoe company.
Calipari is generally pretty gregarious and quotable, at least when he wants to be, but like every other famous coach in America, he's occasionally prone to snapping at a reporter.
Though Calipari conceded to let Tipton ask his question, he didn't answer it. Calipari snapped back and said, "We don't even know if what you're saying is true". The Wildcats coach asked the rest of the reporters in the room if anybody else had any other questions, but Tipton wasn't having any of it.

Its latest missile launch, later that same month, flew over Japan before splashing into the Pacific Ocean. The same day, the USA flew two B-1B Lancer bombers near the Korean Peninsula in a show of force.
Calipari was asked about reports that the FBI has expanded its investigation into Nike, the shoe company that provides United Kingdom with millions in athletic gear. Does anyone here have a question about my team?
To start the press conference, reporters asked several questions about the FBI investigation into college basketball. Tipton, still holding the microphone, replied that, "This is a media day, not coach day". There's no one - we haven't been contacted, the NCAA hasn't contacted.
"How about a basketball question since it isn't my day".
The players were entirely confident that nothing was going to happen to them or the school as they went throughout the season.
