Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James expands his criticism of President Trump

WATCH: LeBron James shreds 'bum' Trump for not 'understanding the power he has to lead'

James has been a vocal critic of Trump and earlier condemned him for revoking an invitation to visit the White House after Curry said he wouldn't attend.

Curry, along with James are one of countless sports athletes both in America and beyond who are not fans of Trump, his ideals, or what he is trying to implement. But I hope that we can bring him here.

James repeatedly referred to the president as "that guy", adding, "My job and my calling is much bigger than that guy. He doesn't understand how many kids, no matter the race, look up to the President of the United States for guidance, for leadership, for words of encouragement".

James has always used his platform as a vehicle for change, and he understands the importance of what speaking out on social issues can do for the entire country.

"I think the lovely thing is that people are starting to wake up", Irving said.

Five reasons the Eagles beat the Giants | Paul Domowitch
Blount had a rumbling 17-yard run early in the drive, and Wentz later kept it going with a nifty 11-yard scramble on third-and-8. You didn't see: A quarterback sack by the Eagles, who came into the game with four in each of their first two games.

Should Marcos Alonso have seen red in Chelsea's win at Stoke?
But, for me, the striker is very important and he is a good guy who wants to improve a lot. "We deserved to win the game". Stoke rallied, but Morata's late double put the result beyond all doubt, and Conte praised his side's gritty display.

Down by two points with a minute remaining on the clock, Durant grabbed the rebound from a Cavs missed shot before bringing the ball down and shooting from beyond the arc over LeBron James. "I probably will reach out to him as well... This is the land of the free, but we still have problems just like everybody else". No matter the shape or size or race or ethnicity or religion - people find teams, people find players, people find colors because of sport, and they gravitate towards that and it makes them so happy.

James said he would continue to use his platform to inspire people. "He doesn't understand that and that's what makes me more sick than anything".

James accused "that guy" of using sports to try and divide the country - and he says he'll do everything in his power to fight back. Coaches take questions en masse, often talking about what has to get done at training camp.

"Me and my friends call each other that all the time. I tried to do whatever I could do to help the kid be as great as he could be".

James, who said he had no regrets about his tweet, couldn't say whether there would be similar protests by National Basketball Association players when the season starts next month and promised to keep speaking out.
