Banihal/Jammu: Two "terrorists" involved in the deadly terror attack on the SSB party in Banihal belt two days ago have been arrested, the police said on Friday.

Police and security forces following the attack, launched a combing and search operation in entire area of Banihal to track down the attackers.

"Haunt for 3rd militant is on", police said adding the snatched weapons AR 41 and Insas have also recovered from the said militants. The duo, along with Aquib Wahid, was involved in the heinous crime wherein one SSB personnel was martyred and another critically injured. "We will arrest the person who had given them pistol", SSP Ramban said. "They went missing after attacking the SSB men and snatching their weapons". During investigation, it was found that that the militants conducted recce of the SSB camp, located at Thathar, about 10 kilometers from Banihal and 200 meters inside Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, before carrying out the attack. The arrests came less than 48 hours after the terror attack.
