President Trump called for a "larger, tougher" travel ban early Friday after the attack in London, calling the perpetrator a "loser" and saying the USA will have to get "nasty" to fight terrorism.

"Another attack in London by a loser terrorist", Trump tweeted. "Must be proactive!" Mr Trump said, appearing to reveal undisclosed intelligence from the headquarters of London's Metropolitan police force. "The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!" he added, without elaborating. He added that his travel ban targeting six mostly Muslim nations should be "far larger, tougher and more specific - but stupidly, that would not be politically correct!"

Asked about his tweet calling for a tougher travel ban, Trump said "we have to be tougher and we have to be smarter".

Trump wrote the tweet in response to news of an explosion in London on an underground train during morning rush hour.

She dismissed the speculative tweet from Trump that claimed Scotland Yard had the so-called "bucket bomber" in terror attack on a London Underground train in their "sights". And he argued that his administration has "made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years".

"My thoughts are with those injured at Parsons Green and emergency services who are responding bravely to this incident", British Prime Minister May said Friday. "Must be proactive & nasty!"

He received a warm welcome from the Palace fans when he walked along the touchline to take his place in the home dug-out. The loss was the Eagles' fifth in a row at the start of the new Premier League season - all without scoring.

On Friday, Trump again jumped into the fray, promoting his handling of extremist militants and saying the government should cut of the internet to such groups.

The Supreme Court granted Tuesday a Trump administration request to continue to bar most refugees under its travel ban.

In March, the White House left United Kingdom spooks apoplectic when it cited unproven media reports that President Barack Obama had asked Britain's signals intelligence agency, GCHQ, to monitor then-candidate Mr Trump in order to "make sure there were no American fingerprints".

The tweet also seemed to imply that Scotland Yard knew about the terror attack.

The 90-day ban is set to expire on September 24, and Department of Homeland Security officials are considering whether to expand the ban to other countries, keep it the same, or take countries off the list.
