Steve Bannon Confirmed To Be Returning to Breitbart Post-WH

Trump Bannon

Ousted White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon said the Trump presidency that the right-wing conservatives helped make a reality is "over" and the president would now be "moderated" by the Republicans.

"Bannon is a very good man, I personally like him" but "the press treats him unfairly", Trump said adding "We'll see" whether he continued at the White House. He apparently wants to work from outside the White House to advance the Trump agenda.

The White House announced Bannon and White House chief of staff John Kelly mutually agreed that Bannon's last day would be Friday.

Bannon was formerly the executive chair of Breitbart News, which fashions itself as a "platform for the alt-right" and forms a large part of the president's voter base.

White House communications chief Anthony Scaramucci was then removed on 31 July over an obscene tirade after just 10 days in his post.

"Trump was criticized on TV tonight for his silence on Bannon's departure".

By Friday night, Bannon was back at an editorial board meeting at Brietbart News, assuming his prior position as head of the company before leaving a year ago to help Trump run his presidential campaign.

Trump told his advisers on Friday morning that he had made a decision to fire Bannon, the New York Times reported.

Mr Bannon was the driving force behind some of the Trump administration's most contentious campaign promises, including a travel ban on people from several Muslim-majority nations and the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris climate change agreement, tearing up global trade agreements and cracking down on illegal immigration.

Bannon has also feuded for months with other members of the Trump administration, including senior adviser Jared Kushner and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster.

He told the Weekly Standard: "Now, it's gonna be Trump". Associates of da barbarian told Axios that Bannon views Breitbart as a "killing machine" with which he is preparing to go "thermonuclear" against "globalists".

'We are grateful for his service and wish him the best, ' she said. I've got my hands back on my weapons.
