Banker arrested in Putney Bridge investigation released without charge

Jogger knocks woman into path of bus

But, 48 hours after news of the arrest was announced, the Met police said they had released Bellquist and eliminated him from the investigation.

The man, Eric Bellquist, a 41-year-old American investment banker, was taken into custody on Thursday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after the police published a video of the violent encounter.

"Police investigating an assault after a jogger appeared to push a woman into the path of an oncoming bus in Putney have made an arrest", London police said in a statement.

The bus stopped and passengers tended to the woman following the incident at about 7.40am on May 5.

Police are still searching for the jogger captured pushing the woman into the street.

Bellquist works at private equity firm Huttons Collins Partners and sits on the boards of two restaurants it is invested in, Wagamama and Byron.

Sudhir Pandey is ideal as the strict father who is imprisoned in the age-old customs that serve no objective in today's times. Jaya refuses to answer nature's call in the open, and walks out of her marital home until Keshav builds a toilet for her.

Sergeant Mat Knowles says it is thanks to the "superb quick reactions of the bus driver" that she was not hit.

The video shows the 33-year-old woman, who was not identified, falling to the pavement and the bus quickly swerving to avoid her head.

The footage shows a large male jogger knocking over the woman into the path of a one of London's famed-double-decker buses.

She suffered minor injuries, a force statement said.

Metropolitan Police say the jogger came back across the bridge 15 minutes later; the victim tried to speak to him but he did not acknowledge her and carried on jogging. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and dark blue shorts.
