Neymar Cleared to Make PSG Debut on Sunday

Paris Saint-Germain's Brazilian forward Neymar poses with a ball during his presentation to the fans at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris

After making his world-record transfer, the Brazil global is under enormous pressure to help PSG regain the Ligue 1 title and also make a run at the UEFA Champions League.

While PSG's attacking options already include the likes of Edinson Cavani, Angel Di Maria and fellow Brazilian global Lucas Moura, Neymar's arrival gives the club a true worldwide star.

The 18-year-old enjoyed an incredible breakout campaign last season in which he scored 15 league goals and became the youngest ever scorer in a Champions League final.

Brazilian star Neymar can make his Paris Saint-Germain debut on Sunday after the French Football Federation's confirmation it has received his worldwide clearance.

The wait to see the world's most expensive footballer playing in his new club colors could continue for longer than expected.

At a pre-match news conference, PSG boss Unai Emery said Neymar was "physically ready to start" the game.

And further delays this week meant the Brazilian's debut over the weekend was in doubt.
