High Temperatures And Low Humidity Brings Summer Back Sunday

A Flash Flood Watch goes into effect at 2 P.M. Friday and lasts through 2 P.M. Saturday

A weak front from southern Canada may bring a pop-up shower storm to Vermont, New Hampshire and ME tomorrow. Highs next weekend will be in the low to mid 80s. Highs will be in the low 80s on Wednesday and in the upper 70s on Thursday. The mornings will start out cool with temperatures in the low 60s. Mostly sunny skies and low humidity will make for comfortable conditions along with low storm chances. Highs will drop back into the lower 80s for the end of the week. There will be the chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon as the air will turn more unstable.

We have plenty of sunshine and some below average temperatures in the forecast as a high pressure system moves in to our northwest.

Then the rain chance will return Friday through Sunday as another cold front approaches the area. The cool air will lag behind the front, though, and thus we are still expecting highs in the middle 80s.

With this nice low humidity, temperatures take a free fall at night with low temperatures in the 30s and 40s in the colder spots. It will not be much cooler along the shoreline, as the wind direction will be offshore.
